My thoughts today come from Ephesians 1:11 "We were also chosen to belong to him. God decided to choose us long ago in keeping with his plan. He works out everything to fit his plan and purpose." This verse reminds me that God chose me, he predestined me, he thought of me, formed me in his mind, GOD THOUGHT OF ME! What an awesome thing to know and to think about. After reading that we should be able to look at ourselves and know that we are loved beyond anything we can imagine! Having a pitty party that no one loves you? Guess what God does and he proves it by showing you that not only did he chose you he thought about you and he planned you and he made you specifically to fit into HIS plan, what a loving and mighty father we have!! Did you realize that he chose YOU in keeping with HIS plan, not my plan, not your plan, not their plan but HIS plan! "He works out everything to fit his plan and purpose." This tells me that NOTHING suprises God. Every trial we go through, every temptation we struggle with, everytime we think that we have messed up AGAIN, God knows. God knew before we stumbled, he knew we were going to stuggle. How could he know? He created you, he thought about you, he knows you but the good news is "He works out everything to fit HIS plan and purpose." Remember not my plan and purpose, not your plan and purpose, not the worlds plan and purpose but HIS perfect plan for our lives but not for our own gain. This is not about you or me, we need to relize it all starts with God. You were made by God and FOR God and until you understand that, life will never make sense.
