After the rough day I had yesterday,I was praying this morning that I would have a better day but if I didn't that I would remember to keep Christ as the center of my day and my life, that when I feel stressed and pressured I would focus on Christ instead of the situations surrounding me. Then God gave me a scripture on my way to work, I love it when he does that!

Matthew 14:27 But Jesus spoke to them at once. "It's all right," he said. "I am here! Don't be afraid."
If we look at the two chapters prior to Matthew 27 it deepens the meaning of the scripture
Matthew 14:24-26
24 Meanwhile, the disciples were in trouble far away from land, for a strong wind had risen, and they were fighting heavy waves. 25 About three o'clock in the morning Jesus came to them, walking on the water. 26 When the disciples saw him, they screamed in terror, thinking he was a ghost.
Then Matthew 14:27 comes along
But Jesus spoke to them at once. "It's all right," he said. "I am here! Don't be afraid."

Are you in troubled waters right now? Are you facing strong winds and heavy waves? Jesus says "It's all right, I am here, Don't be afraid!" Are you leaning on him, is he your rock, your foundation? Any other foundation will crumble underneath you leaving you exposed to be washed away by the crashing waves. Today is the day to make him your rock, no need to wait, he is calling!
